CINNAMON SNICKERDOODLE

Baking Instructions Preheat your oven to 375 F. Add the mix to a large bowl. Add 3/8 cup melted coconut oil, 1/4 cup maple syrup, 1/8 cup applesauce, and 1/4 tsp vanilla extract. Mix until combined. If the dough seems dry, add water or milk of choice 1 tbs at a time. Make 1 inch balls of dough and roll them in a cinnamon and sugar mixture. Place them onto a cookie sheet, press them down to about 1/2 inch thick, and bake for 8-10 minutes. Remove and let cool completely. You may need to refrigerate the dough before forming the balls. If short on time, portion the dough onto the tray and sprinkle the sugar mix on top.

CLASSIC CHOCOLATE CHIP

Baking Instructions Preheat your oven to 375 F. Add the mix to a large bowl. Add 3/8 cup melted coconut oil, 1/4 cup maple syrup, 1/8 cup applesauce, and 1/4 tsp vanilla extract. Mix until combined. If the dough seems dry, add water or milk of choice 1 tbs at a time. Portion onto a cookie sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes. Remove and let cool completely. These do not spread as much as others, so you made need to press them down slightly before baking.

ABOUT THE MAKER

Alexis Chan created Because Cookie Dough while pursuing a Bachelor's of Science in Nutrition.  Her absolute favorite dessert has always been freshly baked cookies, but as a working nutrition student, she did not always have time to make her "healthy" cookies. Unsatisfied with what she could find on the market, Alexis set out on a journey to make her own nutrient-rich cookie dough that could provide nutritional benefits.

Because Cookie Dough is always gluten free, vegan, soy free, and free of refined sugars!  It is sweetened with organic coconut sugar and dates, which are both unrefined and have lower glycemic index values than traditional and refined sweeteners. The Because Cookie Dough gluten free flour mix is also whole grain which makes these cookies a great midday snack in addition to late night desserts.
